We've taken up the issue of the flea-bites with the owner who thanks you for pointing it out. It seems the problem is with the neighbour's cats sleeping on the outside furniture, particularly in the off-season when there are few people at the house, and she is now actively looking for a solution to the issue. We're sorry that you suffered this annoyance but so glad that you enjoyed the location at the heart of the Picos de Europa.

Many thanks Clare for your positive feedback - we're so glad you enjoyed your time at Casa de la Guadesa! We'll certainly check the instructions for getting to the house at our next visit (they seem OK on google maps but sometimes things change faster 'on the ground') so thanks for pointing that out. Thanks also for pointing out the small problem with the mice, we're already working with the owner who is doing her best and has installed an electric, humane mouse-trap but evidently there's still some more work to do. Glad to hear that these issues don't seem to have affected your overall enjoyment of the holiday!
