Your product feedback is noted and we appreciate you taking the time to relay this information to us however we are surprised by your overall rating considering the upgrades villa 27 has recently had. In the living room the TV unit is new and the sofa is also reasonably new. Furthermore, both the bathroom and the toilet floors were upgraded this year. At first we wondered if the villa number you quoted was a typo but we’ve checked your booking and as you state, you definitely stayed in villa 27! We appreciate furnishings are down to individual style and can be subjective and we are sorry they were not to your taste but we will have to agree to disagree with your statement that the villa is tired as this is not the view of other guests and not the view of our company.
We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the housekeeping aspect on this recent visit. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, particularly on cleanliness and we are saddened if you feel our usual high standards have not been met on this occasion.
With regards to ants, it is most unfortunate that you did not make us aware of the issue during your stay as we would have attended and resolved the issue. At this time of year, ants can intermittently be a problem and even though we spray and put ant powder down at each changeover, they can be persistent. Unfortunately we are not permitted to leave such sprays/powders in the property due to the chemicals (health and safety reasons) but our housekeeping team are based on site and are well equipped to deal with such matters. In the past we have even gone to the expense of employing a pest control company believing the professionals will get rid of the pesky insects but they advised we should continue with the measures we have in place and advised there’s nothing further they can suggest. That said, we are obviously sorry you were inconvenienced by ants but if you can let us know next time, we will be able to assist.
