I think that B wiser should offer existing customers a reduced price instead of having to telephone customers to see if the price is acceptable or whether it can be reduced

Your response doesn't answer the point I made - which is you that you didn't offer the lowest (comparable) premium which I was able to get by going to "Go Compare.com".
i stuck with you becuse I had just returned from a trip abroad and ran out of time to renew. But this is the second year running that you have not offered me the most competitive quote. Last year I actually went onto your own site (as a new customer) and found a cheaper quote than the one you had offered me as an existing customer!
After some further correspondence with you, I ended up with the cheaper (by over £100) quote that I had discovered.on your site. This is what I meant when I said "complacency sets in" - once you have established a customer link who onlyrenews on an annual basis. It's know as "inertia selling" in the banking and insurance world.
