Good Morning , Thank you for your feedback. I apologise you were unhappy with our auto renewal service. We can see from our renewal records that your renewal was issued via email and also via post on 13/04 as a reminder. It is mentioned in the renewal that we will automatically renew your policy if we do not hear from you. As we did not hear from you, we automatically renewed same. We do this to ensure our customers have the easiest possible renewal service and also to ensure our customers are never left without cover. Unfortunately due to an increase in claims and a rise in the associated costs there has been an increase in premiums across the insurance industry this year. We try our best to minimise these increases while still offering a great product and service to suit our customers’ needs. We want to thank you for renewing your policy. The cover we give our long-standing customers exceeds the cover we offer to our new customers. You have Lifetime Protected Bonus which means a claim will never affect your policy regardless of the cost involved. Your loyalty to Axa means you are getting this cover free of charge. Premiums are currently high across the insurance industry due to several factors, such as rising claims costs and a rise in the associated costs across the insurance industry this year which has had an impact on our premiums. AXA tries to minimize the cost of customers’ premiums by using a number of expense saving measures, such as employing cost effective car repairers, and fighting fraud.
