We are of course disappointed to hear that you are not happy with our service and have therefore looked into the communication with this order further. The order was placed late on 11-12-2014 and you e-mailed asking us to confirm the expected delivery. We then replied on 12-02-2014 to advise that delivery would be 3-5 working days and that the depot would be in contact to confirm the specific day. You have mentioned having an issue with one of the products, unfortunately since 17-12-2014 we have no record of correspondence from you at all regarding this and do wonder whether you have contacted the manufacturer directly. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review on our company .We are of course disappointed to hear that you are not happy with our service and have therefore carried out a full investigation into the history of your order. You placed an order for a cooker hood on 10-11-2014. On the 01-12-2014 you contacted us saying you had ordered the wrong size extractor unit in error and that you wanted to return it. We explained that you had three options to return the product .We could have the product collected by a dedicated lorry (not a carrier) that we would arrange and take full responsibility for, you could return the product in person to us, or you could use your own carrier. You informed us that you wanted to use your own carrier to return the product. With the cost and fragile (glass) nature of the product we recommended that you get the appropriate insurance cover with your carrier. When your carrier company returned the goods to us we immediately noted damage to the box and signed your carrier’s notes as “goods damaged” .On checking the goods they were found to be damaged with the glass on the hood being chipped. This was not surprising as the service you used was a basic overnight carrier whish was really not suitable for high value fragile goods .We use a dedicated White Gloves delivery service for deliveries and collection for goods of this type. We contacted you immediately to advise you that the returned extractor unit had been damaged and we asked what you would like us to do. You requested pictures of the damage and you asked if we could fill out your claim form on your behalf for the carrier company. Although this was not our responsibility, as it was your carrier, we completed the claim form on your behalf to assist you. With the above in mind we are puzzled as to exactly what you feel we have done wrong and do wonder whether you have actually mixed us up with another company. We did note that you placed another order with us following your complaint which doesn’t really seem to make sense considering your comments.
