Regarding assistance when leaving the marina, we were advised that you were an experienced narrowboater. Our standard practice is that experienced narrowboaters depart independently, as they would not normally require guidance out of the marina. However, had you requested assistance, the marina team would have been more than happy to provide it. We are disappointed to hear your comments regarding the cleanliness of the boat. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and your feedback has been passed to our housekeeping team so that it can be addressed and reviewed to ensure our usual standards are maintained. In relation to your attempts to contact the marina during your holiday, we have spoken with the marina team, who have confirmed that no calls or messages were received on the call-out mobile. Had we received your call, it would have been dealt with immediately. We are sorry if there was any issue in reaching us and understand how frustrating this would have been.
