This is the first complaint we have received regarding Green Sandpiper in 2026, and we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. Regarding the electricity, all of our boats are fitted with standard UK three-pin sockets. If you had contacted the marina during your stay, our team would have been happy to assist and, where possible, provide an adaptor. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry that there were no life jackets on board when you arrived and we're pleased our team was able to rectify the issue promptly. Regarding the route closures, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions, we cannot guarantee any specific cruising route due to unforeseen canal or river stoppages that can occur before or during your holiday. If all routes from the marina had been unavailable, we would have contacted you before your arrival to discuss the options available. Regarding the water tank, it is normal for boats to require refilling every day or every other day, depending on the number of people on board and water usage. We also provide a standard under-counter fridge on all of our boats, as shown in the boat information before booking. Thank you for your additional suggestions regarding fans, a water level gauge, walkie-talkies, updated local information and a blind for the side hatch.
