The pre-holiday service was good. Although the description of the trip not entirely accurate. First day of flat cycle path holiday only suitable for experienced mountain bikers.

Sorry to hear that the tour wasn't as good as previous cycle tours.

Thanks for the useful feedback. We will now be able to tell other customers interested in this tour about the difficulty not being as easy as described and that some of the surfaces are not always suitable for hybrid bikes.

We will amend accordingly for the 2019 season.

Some of the newer bikes that the suppliers are using have front suspension because of the feedback received by customers. This is especially true after the tour goes along shale or gravel cycle routes.

We will be adding on more information about bikes onto the website for 2019 so you will have more detail prior to booking.

Standard of accommodation was excellent. Cycle routes were good but the guide book could be improved which is really the only criticism.

For all holidays (where possible), we are going to offer GPX files with each departure. This should help improve the navigation and you will be able to use a mapping system that is preferred by you.

Lovely trip good hotels, picturesque route

Good service nice hotels but access to a kettle would have been great. An explanation of different bike signs in various countries would hVd been useful

Great feedback.

I have cycled around Lake Constance myself and the change in signage is certain evident. The Swiss side is the best and really detailed. The German side is good for local navigation and the Austrian side is only for a short section.

If you liked this tour, then you might like the Danube Cycle Path as well.

We always try and make sure customers are located in central locations where possible, but sometimes availability or choice doesn't allow for this. There are only one or two hotels in Lindau that are used and if the town is busy, it is hard for the luggage van to get in and out. I agree with you about the importance of being able to enjoy a town or city in the evening.

We do not send out the information booklets by post because they have been lost in the mail previously or left behind at home! It's better if they are collected there and then.

We are going to include extra options such as 'Extra Route Packs' as an option next year on our new booking system.
