Pet insurance covers many of the financial risks pet owners face for vet expenses however does not cover every circumstance. Insurer’s generally have terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions to the cover provided, such as excluding cover for some conditions or treatments having a waiting period on certain conditions, in order to help keep premiums down.
