Thank you for such an illustrative review and set of photos, which I'm sure prospective walkers will appreciate hugely. We're very glad to hear you enjoyed the route - the Dales Way never gets quite the same amount of fanfare as some of the Lake District walks in particular, but that combination of varied countryside and Yorkshire villages ranks well up there with them all, in our opinion!
