The fact is that these Timeshare groups excel at really persuasive, high-pressure sales. This is very often how people fell into the timeshare trap in the first place and, all too often, people find they are talked into "upgrading" to points systems, fractions or similar schemes without realizing that its just more timeshare in a different guise. Before they know it, they've paid another few thousand pounds just for the pleasure of paying higher annual fees, for an even longer future period! The group legal action against RCI is expected to come to a head in Spring 2015 and the legal team are highly confident of a positive outcome, as was the case with a similar action in the USA. We've heard some horror stories about timeshare resale companies and you only have to at websites like eBay to see hundreds of people unsuccessfully trying to sell timeshares for next to nothing - so it doesn't make any sense at all to pay a company to try and sell it for you.
