Very good telephone service has been let down by the fact that I have still not received a booking confirmation and I am now wasting time trying to chase them up.

Ms Aston,your feedback is very much appreciated. Please note though that email confirmations can take up to 48 hours to be sent as sometimes we might have to wait for vouchers to come from our suppliers. Thank you, Purpletravel.co.uk

I appreciate your response, however this information was not relayed at the time. Furthermore, I think that an email from Purple Travel giving details of the holiday booked immediately upon booking which can then be followed by a second email when the vouchers etc have arrived, would provide better customer service.

It is extremely important that we phonetically spell check all names and other important details, as if they are incorrect or different to passports there may well be a charge to correct the name or the customer may be refused boarding at the airport.
