I'm sorry to hear that the pull through is not what you were expecting. The microfibre material of the cloth is designed to be very absorbent and light weight but should touch the sides of the instrument as it is pulled through. We do recommend taking the instrument apart before it is pulled through, as it is just as important to dry the socket and tenon to prevent cracking.
