Thank you for your thorough feedback on our 10-day itinerary along Hadrian's Wall Path. The mileages we quote in our materials cover the distance along the trail from stage start to stage end if it's walked directly without detours. This means most walkers will end up walking further - to explore the sights, find meals and facilities, and generally enrich the trail to their preferences. In this case, we think that process accounts for some of the discrepancy you discovered out on the trail. However, following your comments, we've had a hard look at Day Six and can confirm the quoted distance in miles is slightly out and should read 11 miles. We apologise for that inaccuracy and we regret that the division of the trail on this day did not suit your group. We hope you enjoyed your holiday otherwise and we're glad our provision of B&Bs and transfers worked well. Thank you very much for leaving a review.
