Thank you for providing feedback on your recent experience with Qdos and I am sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the service. As you pay on a Direct Debit basis your protection is automatically renewed around 28 days prior to your cover expiring to give you ample opportunity to notify us if you wish to cancel or notify us on any material changes. When the automatic renewal is initially processed we notify you via email that cover is starting in around a months’ time. When you initially purchased cover with us, we also inform you that if you opt to pay monthly you will be subject to an automatic renewal. That being said, there is no obligation for you to continue with cover and you can cancel at any stage without any cancellation fees. Each year that you choose to continue with Qdos on a monthly basis, a direct debit administration fee will be applied to each application. The direct debit administration fee covers the additional administration that goes into collecting, chasing and marking off payments each month compared to an annual application. The benefit of paying monthly is you will face no cancellation charges if you cancel mid-term, whereas there would be a £20.00 cancellation fee per policy. Also your protection is automatically renewed each year, which saves you time on processing a renewal each year. I have contact you directly if there is anything else you wish to address.
