Dear Mr Philips, I am so sorry to hear that your mother did not get on with the dispenser. They can be a brilliant aid in helping people to remember to take their medication but if the user is determined to damage it then it is possible that they are not suitable for one. The lock & shutter should be enough to deter someone who wants to be compliant from fiddling. We can supply a clear lid to allow the pills to be seen through the lid, if this would help, and we can repair most damage if needed. Is the second unit going to be used at all? We can offer advice on introducing a dispenser to a user. If we can be of any support please call the office, we would be pleased to help. Kind regards, Nicky Green
