We’d like to address a few of the concerns you raised.
Firstly, we want to clarify that your booking was exclusively for Villa Vicentra. The neighbouring villa you also visited is not part of our portfolio.
As already explained, Villa Vicentra has a strict policy regarding outside visitors. Only registered guests staying at the property are permitted on the premises. This policy applies to all gatherings, meals, and events. Unfortunately, this meant that guests from the neighbouring villa could not be hosted at Villa Vicentra. These restrictions are in place because the property does not hold the necessary licenses or insurance to accommodate events or gatherings that exceed its maximum capacity.
This is not unique to this property, villas throughout Spain, particularly in regions like Catalunya, are currently under increased scrutiny regarding compliance with tourism licenses and local regulations. Property owners are therefore required to adhere strictly to these rules.
Regarding the VIP Credit, we’re sorry for any frustration caused. The terms of the credit, including the 50% cap, are clearly outlined on our website and included in the post-stay email you received. Our team does follow up after each trip to invite feedback and gently remind guests of any available credit. We’re sorry if our messages came across as excessive, our intention is only to ensure guests don’t miss the opportunity to use their reward.
