Many thanks for your feedback.
We act as agent for the carrier and are therefore bound by the fare conditions set out by them. In common with many 'no frills' airlines, the carrier you booked with charges a fee per person, per flight, for booking changes, but also requires that if the fare for the new date is higher, you pay the difference. In this case your original booking was changed, rather than a new booking being made. The high cost to change the booking was very likely to have been due to the new date falling within the school half term holiday, and fares being higher at this time.
We're very sorry that you were dissatisfied on this occasion, but thank you anyway for passing on your feedback.
Regards,
Dave
