Thank you for leaving us a review. We can completely sympathise with your frustration here. Unfortunately as you were purchasing a Repossession property, HOP legally must continue to advertise the property up until exchange (also written on the advert) and are legally bound to take and put forward any new offers. This unfortunately is part of the process when buying a Repossession property like this. As you were very close to exchange we did advise the client against accepting a new offer at this late stage, but as the new offer was significantly higher it is unfortunately out of our control. We must mention that this was made very clear by us and your solicitor when your offer was accepted and as you also did the same to a previous buyer, you were aware there was a chance this could happen to you. That being said, we can completely appreciate your disappointment and frustration, and this is not something we ever like to see happen to our buyers. We again are so sorry this process didn't work out for you and we do hope you find your dream home soon. Likewise if we have any similar styled properties we will certainly let you know.
