Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry for the delays on both your flights and we understand how frustrating this was, especially when travelling with children. Both of your flights were affected by circumstances beyond the airline’s control. The outbound delay was due to Air Traffic Control restrictions, and the return flight from Tenerife was held after a small technical issue was identified as the aircraft taxied for departure. In both cases, the crew were required to wait for clearance before take-off to ensure everyone’s safety. That said, we appreciate your comments regarding communication on board. Keeping passengers informed is an important part of providing good service, and we’ll be sharing your feedback with our partners at Smartwings to help improve how updates are handled in future. We're very sorry this trip didn’t meet your expectations, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to restore your confidence in us, should you choose to book with us at FlyDirect in the future.
