The joy of flying direct!

Aside from a short delay on departure, the service was efficient and friendly and the opportunity to 'fly direct' to holiday destinations is heavenly!

Very disappointed.

A 4 hour delay getting back to Guernsey with no information offered until the last hour, after getting up at 3 am to get to the airport two hours before the due departure time. We will not be booking...

Thank you for your review. With regard to the delay, there was a technical problem on the return flight, BA dealt with this as fast as they could and sourced a replacement plane. We genuinely think that is worth delaying the journey in order to keep our clients safe.

Many thanks for your reply. Whilst accepting that it is always vital to give safety the utmost priority, the fact that the plane had technical problems is not the issue, and is no one’s fault. The problem lies with the fact that no one informed us passengers of the situation until about one hour before we finally departed. There was a full plane load of very tired passengers at the gate , many of them children, not knowing how long they would be there. Your office was closed and many people were desperately trying to get information by phoning contacts in Guernsey without success. If we had been told of the situation, then the long wait for the replacement aircraft would have been much easier to bear. There was a failure of communication in this instance, something which should be an important part of your customer service.

A few teething problems but great flight.

The plane did not have refreshments to purchase on the outward leg and very limited on the return. We were delayed by over 3 hours coming home.
