Great service and help with a key problem.

It wasn't the easiest key to identify and copy. Intelligent interchange of emails quickly sorted out the identification. Someone actually cared ! Delivery was then quick and the key works perfectly....

I'm very sorry if you feel our advertising is deceptive, or that our email explanation of the difference between a transponder key and remote key was not sufficiently clear.

We are unfortunately only able to supply remote keys for UK vehicles, and as you are based in the US, we didn't want to supply a key to you which would not work. I had hoped that I had explained this properly to you, I'm sorry if this didn't come across in that way.

Some people are coming to you in order to get keys that are cheaper than from the dealership. This was my case. Car keys like these can provide any/all of three functions - (1) Cut "tip" (metal blade) to unlock door and activate ignition switch (2) Deactivate immobiliser if present (3) provide remote control functions such as car unlock etc. When selling replacement car keys, that are clearly more than just cut metal blanks, you need to be clear which of the three functionalities you are providing. In my case I needed all three, and your company's keys was providing only two of the three. Your advertising for the key I bought does not state that remote functionality is not provided. These are the three basic functions that need to be advertised on your website and yet it was not. Inexplicable. Why was it not advertised?. Sure I can start my car if I get the immobilizer programmed, but the remote functionality is important and useful.
