The portier set is a 200 thread count percale cotton, and is amongst our most popular bed linen; we are therefore sorry to hear of your disappointment with this particular product. For our much anticipated January sale this year, across our website every item available had been marked down in price, however we would like to assure you that this reduction in price reflects no equal compromise in the quality of our products, which continue to be of a high standard. We will shortly be launching our exciting Spring / Summer 2013 collection, and we do hope that you may find something more to your liking amongst this new range.

Thank you for your feedback. As per the stock information on your order confirmation, we had unfortunately been out of stock of the Perreau zinc cushion. We are delighted to say however that this new stock arrived with us early this morning, and your order has been scheduled for despatch this afternoon. We choose to maintain the same high standard of quality for our Children’s bedding ranges as our bed linen for our other bedding collections; Percales however, are typically firm and smooth with no gloss whilst still maintaining a very high thread count and are excellent for children’s bedding because they wash very well; we are therefore very sorry to hear you are unhappy with our bedding on this occasion. Because of their practical value, our children’s bedding is all percale, however we do offer single sizes in all our other bedding ranges, should customers prefer not to order percales.
