We note that the renewal quote that was initially sent to you, was for the area of cover on your existing policy, you have then accessed your renewal portal and downgraded the area of cover, which lowered the renewal premium. When you went online to our direct website and did a quote and purchased the policy, the premium offered though was inclusive your 20% loyalty discount, was lower than the amended renewal quote because you have not declared any pre-existing medical conditions. Once you have updated the medical conditions on the new purchased policy, the system showed you that there was an additional premium to update the medical declaration onto the policy, which would have been exactly the same premium provided on the updated renewal quote which was inclusive your medical declaration. You have then decided to cancel your policy and a full refund was issued.
