The nearby train station is useful – previous guests have arrived by train, and explored using the train and tram system in the Greater Manchester area. The tram is ideal to visit Media City at Salford Quays, the home of the BBC in the North West, where ‘BBC Breakfast’, ‘Blue Peter’, ‘Match of the Day’ and other programmes are made. It is possible to book tickets online with the BBC for a tour of Media City.
