I'd like to thank you for leaving your feedback about our service and the product you received. Firstly, I'm delighted that you had a good experience ordering the product and that the delivery was quick and efficient. I am, however, disappointed to hear that a part of the product was not up to the standard you expected. We do offer a free, no quibble, replacement service for any defective or broken parts that are received. All we need is a short email with a couple of photos that show the problem and we will happily replace them for you at no charge.
To help with rust we do advise using a cover to protect from the elements as this will help greatly. However, you cannot prevent rust entirely from a cast iron product - but it will not affect the use of the chiminea in any way. If it does become unsightly you can simply remove it with a stiff brush.
