Walking Tour from Leon to Santiago carrying own pack. Booked rooms with bath/toilet.

Excellent arrangements. Quality of accomodation very good, although as can be expected variable. Daily distances (at age 69) should not be more than 25 km. will certainly recommend CW.

A wonderful experience with no meaning

Whilst we had an excellent guide who was very helpful in all aspects there was no spiritual guidance or historical information which was a disappointment.

Jenny, I have described the service as adequate and I think that is a fair assessment. My initial contacts with your company were pleasant and helpful but I had a less than satisfactory conversation with a male staff member on the matter of information on getting from Bilbao Airport to Pamplona. Secondly, I was provided with no maps or walking notes for the final three days, i.e from Burgos to Fromiesta. Finally, the accommodation in San Juan de Ortega was an absolute disgrace and run by an unkempt ignorant man. I had a shower there and booked out immediately afterwards. For the sake of reputation of your company and in the interest of your customers you should never book anyone into this place. Having said all of that, I enjoyed the trip and found the arrangements made by your company to be good. I would suggest, however, that you ask each client to complete a questionnaire afterwards.
