I checked the correspondence with us and it seems as a gesture of good will you were given a discounted rate for the tour and provided with all the information on how to book the tour so I am truly confused about your comments about our staff. You mentioned at some point poor reception but that's not something our team can control. Overall however it looks like you are satisfied with the experience. Thank you for touring with us!

Dear Client ,Thank you for your feedback and I must say that you are right in the sense that a tour of the grand canal , like many other tours ,is not so enjoyable when it rains heavily . Summer storms do happen and with climate change also in Italy these are more frequent than in the past . Safety comes first for us as well as for all our collaborators . We’ve been in business for 20 years and we have cancelled tours , even recently , when forecast would show there would not be the conditions to operate a tour in safety . That day this was not the case , otherwise we would have cancelled the tour even last minute , also because no taxi driver would have accepted to tour under severe and risky weather conditions This said , I fully agree with you that touring in certain conditions is not enjoyable and I would have quite happily offered you to take the tour again with us the following day if you had contacted us after the tour. Thank you for your comments. The tour operates with just 8 / 9 people per boat therefore it is a semi-private tour - pehaps it may cost a bit more than big group tours but you get a much higher quality which you will not have if you pay little but travel with a big group or if you travel on your own without any commentary from a local guide who knows Venice very well.
