Delivery charge (51% of goods purchased) is shameful....! I wonder how may sales are lost to them because of it?

Thank you for your comments. However as your order was over £50 you should not have been charged carriage. On small orders we charge a subsidised £7.75 whereas it actually costs £10 to send long items such as curtain tracks and poles. Unfortunately, you selected the delivery address for your order as Scottish Islands despite it going to Essex. The offshore charge is £29.50 which is purely the charge made to us and as you had selected that option the system applied this charge. Of course we will now refund this to your card.
The Superline track is designed to snap into brackets that have already been fixed to the wall.

The Silchester pole is a good value pole supplied with fixed length brackets. This is made quite clear with both a large image of the bracket on the web site and the bracket projection is noted within the specification below the image.

Although dispatched immediately by Poles Tracks on Thurs AM the item was not received until midday Monday. The courier did not fulfil the 24hr delivery service.
