To expand on this with more detail, the manufacturer mis-packed the wrong lug studs in their tire carriers. They packed JL lugs instead of JK. The the entire stock sent by the manufacturer was incorrect (same day sent the customer replacement from our stock, customer received the part the business day after the email of the issue). The second part was also JL lugs and not JK, this is how we learned all stock was incorrect. The manufacturer is closed due to COVID-19 so cannot be corrected for a few weeks. We shipped the customer JL Lug nuts to use with the carrier since there are aftermarket wheels being used. The carrier is installed and functioning with the JL lug nuts we sent at no cost to the customer. This is being addressed and the manufacturer will exchange the part when they are legally allowed to reopen. In this time of COVID-19, we fixed the issue as best we could for the customer at no cost to them and the tire carrier is fully functioning since the only error by the manufacturer was the lug size. The 2 star review seems a little low since we fixed the issues as best we could and got the customer an operating tire carrier fix at no cost to them until the manufacturer can reopen and exchange as it is needed. There really was no better way to remedy this situation and I hate to see the service review being so low as I am not sure many other companies would have sent out lug nuts to make it work for now or known that the customer's wheels can take JL lug studs and that all they needed to temporarily remedy the situation was to send them JL lug nuts at no cost to them. So to be clear - temporary remedy due to manufacturer being closed, tire carrier is functioning 100%, and the manufacturer will be sending the correct part when they are allowed to reopen and the customer has this information and made little to no indication that the way we handled this was unsatisfactory.
