Firstly, we would like to clarify that we have taken your complaint seriously from the beginning. In an attempt to resolve the issue, we not only investigated the matter thoroughly but also reached out to the manufacturer, Koo, to gather additional insights.
Regarding the scratch on the left lens, our assessment, along with the evaluation from the manufacturer's representative, determined that it was not a manufacturing fault or defect. Instead, it appeared to be caused by an external factor. While we understand your disappointment, we regretfully cannot provide a replacement under warranty in this case.
We acknowledge your expertise in caring for eyewear, and we appreciate your attention to detail. Our intention was never to dismiss or undermine your concerns. However, based on the information available, it was determined that the damage was not caused by the sunglasses or their case alone.
Regarding the case, we understand your feedback regarding its construction. While we have not encountered similar issues with the case in the past, KOO has sold a significant number of California sunglasses and has not received any previous complaints about the case causing scratches or damage to the lenses. The case is designed to provide adequate protection for the sunglasses during storage and transport. we appreciate your input and have passed this over to Koo.
