Thanks for taking the time to offer this feedback. All of the orders that we receive where our customers request next day service are sent by a next day service (delivered within 24 working hours Mon-Fri). We make no profit from these postage charges. We are sorry if you found our terms and conditions misleading and will look at making these even clearer on our websites.

But Fishtec DO make profit if you permit the customer to pay for an 'additional amount' for next day delivery without actually invoking that service because the order for goods is placed on a Friday. Whilst I do agree that the terms & conditions on the website do mention this fact, the website ordering process should NOT permit customers to PAY an additional amount for next day delivery when they place an order on a Friday as it just won't happen - people don't always read the terms of service. Fistec in these instances SHOULD respect their customers and refund the 'overpaid' amount, and a direct refusal by Fishtec to make a refund just because the customer didn't read all the 'terms of conditions' shows nothing more than a lack of respect for customers and is without doubt very bad practice indeed, so yes Fishtec DO make a practice of pocketing the overpaid funds and therefore gain a 'pecuniary advantage' due to a customers mistake.

When a customers orders next day service on a Friday, the goods are sent by a 24 working hour service. The couriers charge us exactly the same amount for this, as it is the same service we use for Mon to Thu. If a customer requests next day service on a Friday, then 99.9% of these people require their goods delivered on Monday. We are sorry to hear that you made an error whilst ordering and we will look at making our T&C's easier to follow.

Fishtec seem to be misiing the point Fishtec should not permit the customer to be ABLE to place an order for NEXT DAY DELIVERY together with an 'additional payment' when the order is placed on a Friday - to do so causes the customer additional and unnecessary expense - the website NEEDS to make it perfectly clear when an order is processed on-line on a Friday that next day delivery is NOT available - and therefore the customer would have the opportunity of considering if additional expense is worth it or necessary.

The replacement glasses (along with an additional free case) are on the way to you now. Unfortunately we had our annual stocktake last week so nothing was able to leave our warehouse during this time; but they did leave us on Friday and will be with you any day now. Sorry for the delay.
