We always try to make sure all diamonds on our website are fully available. Your original diamond was sold a few minutes before your order, and for this rare occurrence we are sorry. The new diamond was superior to the original diamond, with a higher clarity. As they were both a G colour on an EGL certificate, a slight yellow colouration is expected (G colour on an EGL would be 3 colour grades lower on a GIA certificate and priced lower accordingly).
We will contact you directly as we would be happy to help you upgrade to a higher colour diamond if you wish to improve the colour of your stone.
