We're sorry to hear about the rumble you're experiencing with the AV120. There are a few common causes for this that can affect any speaker, this isn't something unique to ours, so hopefully one of these tips helps.
First, make sure the speaker is sitting flat on its rubber feet. If it's not resting properly on those feet, it can cause a rumbling sound. It's also worth checking that the speaker isn't placed inside an enclosed space like an armoire or on a shelf with walls close around it, as that can amplify the bass or low frequencies and cause the rumble. Finally, take a look around the speaker for any small objects nearby that might be vibrating along with it, things like loose screws, random remote controls, or other small items can sometimes be the real source of a rattling or rumble sound.
If these tips don't help, please email us at info@zvoxaudio.com or submit a new support ticket. We are always happy to help and would love to get this resolved for you.

Thanks for sharing this. The input on the back of the AV120 is actually a combined optical and analog input, so it does support both. You can plug in a mini optical TOSLINK cable or a 3.5mm analog cable, you just can't have both connected at the same time.
If you have any questions about getting this set up, feel free to email us at info@zvoxaudio.com or submit a new support ticket and we're happy to help.

ACCUVOICE AV855 SOUNDBAR WITH DUAL SUBWOOFERS, 20 LEVELS OF VOICE BOOST, HDMI COMPATIBLE
We set up the sound bar with our new Sony TV. The sound was not as clear as I had hoped. It turns itself off with no warning. I have to go through the programming process each time it does that.

We're sorry to hear the AV855 hasn't been performing the way you'd hoped, and we'd love to help get this fixed.
The speaker turning off randomly is usually caused by the TV sending a low volume signal, which can trigger the standby or sleep mode on the speaker. That same low volume signal can also be the reason the sound isn't as clear as it should be. The quick fix is to disable Auto Standby so the speaker stops shutting off on its own.
With the speaker on and working, press and hold the power button on the ZVOX remote until you see "NoAS" on the display.
That said, the proper fix is increasing the output volume on the TV itself, which should help with both the shutoff issue and the clarity at the same time. If the quick fix doesn't solve things, or if you'd like help getting the TV volume properly adjusted, please email us at info@zvoxaudio.com or submit a new support ticket. Be sure to include the model number of your Sony TV and how you have the AV855 connected (HDMI, optical, RCA, or 3.5mm headphone cable), and we'll get you sorted from there.
