Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you felt our staff had come across as argumentative. The product that you had purchased was one of our Diamond Engineered Real Wood Floors, which is HDF based and then has a clear laminated coating. It can appear very similar to a laminate floor when viewing a small sample. However, the decorative layer is real wood, which is where the distinctive difference is. Laminate floors will always use a printed surface that looks like wood but never use a real wood decorative surface. We do fully explain this on our website with a very detailed description, numerous pictures, and a video. I think that our staff were trying to explain what is on our website as you had not read the information. I apologise if this came across as argumentative. It is a very unique product due to being extremely tough for real wood, but i do appreciate it can look very different to any of the other engineered wood floors that we also supply.
