Hi, many travellers fall ill through drinking 'local' bottled water. At worst and rarely one is given a decent quality bottle, the imbalance in minerals can cause severe stomach complaints. We would always advise running any bottled water one is supplied with, through a Water to Go bottle to ensure you have safe drinking water. We are delighted however that you did not fall ill during the trip. It is a pity that people spend days in their bed and bathrooms after consuming bad water
