Master Blender Jim Beveridge has hand-selected some of the most interesting parcels from this library of liquids, skilfully marrying them together with the other rare malt and grain whiskies in the Blue Label recipe to create an extraordinary blend. With a highly limited release worldwide, this first special edition is Brora & Rare, an 8 whisky Blue Label blend with single malt from the now silent Brora at its heart. Bottled at the higher strength of 46% abv.Featuring rare expressions from the operational distilleries of Royal Lochnagar, Clynelish, Glenkinchie, Glenlossie and Cameronbridge, this blended Scotch is smooth with the fruity sweetness of pineapple, rich notes of hazelnut and dark chocolate, and a subtle smoky finish.
