Hello Ed, I'm so sorry to hear this. We certainly don't make a habit of disappointing our clients and I'd definitely like to rectify the situation. We offer free returns for clients in the USA - would you like to return the stone? Simply email the gemologist allocated to your account if you'd like to take this route. Before doing so however, please make sure you are using the correct lighting. Color Change Garnet should be viewed in daylight equivalent light (around 6500 kelvin) to see the green hue, and then under full incandescent light (2500 to 2700 kelvin) to see the red hue.
