I'm so sorry to hear you were ill after the party! Our ready made sponge cakes are extremely low risk for any kind of food poisoning and we haven't had a case of a customer being made ill by our cakes reported in over thirty years. It would be very unlikely that any kind of illness would be caused by our sponge cakes, but we always take any customer feedback very seriously, so please do email us the batch code and best before date for the cake to info@sweetsuccess.uk.com so we can investigate.
