Thank you for your feedback. We specifically avoid emails because:- They may be intercepted without your or our knowledge, potentially compromising the security of account details. If we use email communications fraudsters may have more success in gaining access to customer details through so called ‘phishing’ attempts. Skipton never sends emails with personal information and hence if one is received purporting to be from Skipton it should be viewed as a potential fraud and dealt with accordingly. I am sorry to hear that you did not understand the conditions of the product, which were clearly communicated in product literature and are the same as other notice accounts previously taken.
