Thank you, Pip, for your response and the offer of help in the future, it is much appreciated. I bought these pearl earrings as a gift and my friend loved them. Of course she had no expectations regarding their colour! In retrospect, my comments probably stemmed from the fact that I have found the illustrations on your site to be very accurate in the past.
