Hi, we are sorry to hear you are disappointed with the with the stand and basket. Your feedback is important to us. The dreami sleep system design was updated just over 2 years ago and the old version has not been manufactured or sold in quite some time. We have changed the handles to improve the shipping of the baskets, so the handles do not get caught inside and cause it to deform. It also greatly improves to aesthetic, creating a sleeker and better streamlined basket. The curve stand when not in use can be easily separated for storage with the click of a button or to easily transport when visiting family and friends. The pictures and description we have on the website is the most up to date dreami which is the version you have received, it is not our intention to mislead customers and we always ensure we provide as much information as possible for our customers so they can make informed decisions on their purchases.
