Hi, Thank you for taking the time to review the Shnuggle bath! We are pleased to hear you love the bath. Newborns may need that little bit of extra support until they are strong enough to support their neck and head for the first 3-4 weeks. We always recommend you use one hand to support babies head or neck until they can hold up their own head and the other hand to wash. The bum bump is useful from birth as it will support babies' lower body. If you have the bath raised, ie/ Kitchen sink or changing table, this makes holding babies' heads with one hand really easy.
