the bait has not caught any thing yet and there is activity near bait boxes

Hi,The bait or box isn't designed to catch the rat, the box is used to hold the bait to stop not targeted species eating the poisons. The bait is what the rats eat and then will more than likely die with their burrows so you wouldn't see them.
