Hi David, Sorry you found the shipping rates to be expensive on our website. We haven't been able to make USPS available as an option, which works better for small items like what you ordered. In the future you can always try calling us direct to get the most accurate possible shipping rate.

Hi Shane, I just checked our records and it looks like you were notified the item was on back order within 7 days of purchase. I'm sorry that was a little long, but we do not always receive prompt replies from our suppliers when confirming stock. When I checked the tracking number, it shows your order was delivered on 9/12, and the original order date was 8/23. There was a slight delay in delivery time due to UPS being unable to locate the correct street address, sorry if there was any kind of typo or misunderstanding on our end.
