Good morning Thank you for your feedback. The booking information does mention the track: Access to the cottage is on roads and 1/4 mile on an unmade dirt track that can be difficult to negotiate, particularly in poor weather and winter or be problematic for low slung cars. In periods of very bad weather we may not be able to prepare the cottage for your stay. Kind regards National Trust Holidays

A cosy Northumberland Cottage in peaceful surroundings

The website was very easy to navigate and it was no problem to place a booking. In my contact with the booking office I found the staff very pleasant and helpful.
