my only suggestion is that the delegate registration for and self declaration should be done before issuing...

We have taken your comments back to the product teams to take a look for future developments to the course. The IMIST standard is controlled by OPITO, and we provide the course to their requirements. Due to Covid-19 OPITO updated their standard to allow individuals to sit the course without the need to visit an invigilation centre and we are continuing to work with OPITO to optimise the process further.
