We are pleased to hear that you found the base sturdy and well suited for induction cooking, and that the handles remained comfortable to hold during use. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the lid performance. Condensation forming on the underside of the glass lid is a normal part of the steaming process, as steam cools and turns back into water droplets when it comes into contact with the glass surface. However, we understand that visibility into the basket is important whilst cooking. With regards to the steam release around the lid, steamers are designed to allow a small amount of steam to escape during use to prevent pressure build-up, though we are sorry to hear that yours appears to vent more noticeably in one area. Your comments about the lid fit and weight are valuable and will be passed on to our product team for review.
