Thank you for your feedback. It's very important to us. The Garden Planner relies on being connected to our servers to work so requires a steady internet connection. We don't currently have plans for a downloadable version of the Garden Planner as that would cost us much more to support than most people are willing to pay for the product. With the online product we can keep backups of customers' data, and we store copies of all save points so if you do lose Internet connection we can usually restore your plan to the most recent save point. The Garden Planner also includes a number of features which require online access (some already launched such as planting reminders by email, others set to come in the future such as pest alerts). We're always looking for ways to make the Garden Planner even more useful for our customers so I will forward your feedback on to our development team for their consideration.

Hi Reb, as well as the benefits of an online app that my colleague mentioned, there is a way to add a link to your Home Screen to make the Garden Planner easy to access. We'll contact you with details of how to do this.

We added a lot of new plants this year; let us know if there is something in particular that you are looking for so that we can forward it to the development team for their consideration for the future. It's also possible to create custom plants using any existing plant icon, we'll contact you with details of how to do that.
