Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you have not found the Garden Planner to be user friendly. There are dwarf, large and cordon apples in the Garden Planner, as well as lemon, and dwarf and large apricot. If you can't find a plant you need, you can also create custom plants. It is possible to draw a clothes line using the Shapes Tool, but I will also forward your request to our development team for their consideration for the future. The plant icons are a fixed size, but the coloured backgrounds can be made smaller by adjusting the spacing. We'll contact you with details of how to do these things.
